"Review of Insurance Agent Mathew Olson I regret to share my ongoing frustration with the service provided by insurance agent Mathew Olson. I filed a claim in May, and several months later, the issue still remains unresolved. The process has been marked by a lack of communication, delays, and unprofessionalism. It took nearly two months just to get a field agent to my home for an assessment. During a critical point in the claim—when we were determining whether the correct shingle could be replaced—Mathew abruptly went out of the office for the rest of the week without any prior notice, despite our mutual understanding that we would be communicating daily to move the claim forward. In multiple conversations, Mathew never once informed me of his planned time off. At his request, I left a sample shingle on the doorstep for review, and it has now been sitting there for over a week without any action. This delay is particularly concerning because we are working against a tight deadline for an extension that may be affected by the unresolved claim. Unfortunately, this experience has reflected the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Timely communication, transparency, and accountability are all essential when dealing with urgent insurance matters—and those have been severely lacking in this case. I sincerely hope that improvements are made so that future clients do not endure similar challenges."
